Edge VPN Connections

We have about 10 remote PC's which are connected via Edge.

These sites connect permanently to our smoothwall Linux firewall using pptp.

I have found that at least 1 out of 10 sites is not able to connect. The linux firewall is connected via ADSL.

I noticed a few posts from last year regarding troubles with MTN APN Internet, and why MTN does not have an internetvpn APN.

Have these issues been resolved, is there a solution to this problem ?
Is there anyone else thats experiencing the same problems ?

Is this now or always?

MTN GPRS is currently experiencing problems and will advise as soon as it has been resolved.

Please advise ASAP
