“I see the old alliance between the EFF and the
ANC is back together and strong,” said Maimane.
Julius Malema didn't take too kindly to this and
demanded Maimane withdraw his comment.
“Mmusi, you went to vote on rules with these
people to beat up the members of parliament. We
don’t have any alliance here with these people,
you voted with them,” said Malema.
Members of the EFF then shouted at Maimane
asking him to withdraw his comments but the
leader of the DA refused.

I didn't get to watch the session. Did Mmusi have anything to back up his claim?

I've heard this theory before, but thought that it was confined to crack pots and tin foil hat wearers.
 
all our politicians are morally bankrupt, and just protecting the huge salaries they get paid, simple as that.

Nothing remotely 'Honorable' about the whole lot.


Apparently, there is no money for anything, yet clowns are being paid top dollar figures in SOE's, ministers, government employees, top dollar for f'all return.

They reckon it's market related salaries, lol.
If it was, they would have been bankrupt more than a decade ago and on the street begging.

It's not new. They make a perfect pair. Zuma's head stuck up JuJu's ass and Juju's head in Zuma's ass.

Been that way, will keep on being that way.
People who think these two work independently is.. well an ANC or EFF voter.
 
utter rubbish. I watch parliament TV quite a lot these days. Better entertainment than Comedy Central. If the EFF and ANC are in cahoots (not sure if I spelt that right but the spell checker seems to think so), they are damn good actors the whole lot of them because they go at it like cat and mouse without fail at every single sitting.
 
I just watched the short clip from the link but I don't understand why he said something like that? Did something happen earlier on in the session? This clip alone just makes Mmusi look like a chop as that comment was clearly to provoke Malema.
 
I watched half the session, and I can assure you that the EFF is embarrassing the DA and other opposition parties. The more people watch Parliament sessions the more the EFF will win more votes from other opposition parties. Those guys have a very good strategy in Parliament. Yesterday they asked the same question (pay back the money) in about 6 languages, and they did it intentionally to great effect. The fact that the DA is fighting the EFF is because they realise that the EFF is stealing the march on them, and rightly so at the moment. The old way of doing things in Parliament doesn't work anymore, and the DA will have to catch up otherwise they'll lose voters in the next general elections. Sure they'll probably win PE, and push the ANC hard in Tshwane, in the next local elections, but once Zuma is gone then it will be tough to win votes.

The EFF is stealing votes from the ANC, not from parties like the DA.. or at least not in significant numbers. The DA will still see a net gain on votes from people who are getting disillusioned with the type of politics of the ANC and the EFF...
 
Maimane is dead right.
The EFF causing chaos in parliament and reciting the same old rhetoric does precisely nothing, all they do is prevent the DA and other parties from using the limited amount of power they have in parliament. The EFF making parliament useless is exactly what the ANC needs to carry on with their dirty deeds.

Lol, no, just no. Firstly, the ANC doesn't need the EFF to make parliament useless, they are quite capable of doing that on their own. Secondly, Maimane's remark was simply trolling the EFF because Malema and Zuma agreed that Omar al-Bashir should not have been arrested, although Malema did say he had problems with Zuma ignoring the court order. If you watch parliament and see how much **** Malema gives Zuma it will dispel any notion you have of an alliance

Agree, Mmusi was probably just getting his own back because Malema accused the DA of collaborating with the ANC on parliament rules and the Nkandla committee.

Your argument is contradictory.
 
So, from what i have read, and saw of the session, Mmusi was simply being a troll. I don't see what caused the comment, and no one has pointed it out yet. Poor show by Mmusi, it looks like a desperate grab for attention, since the EFF is getting a lot of the spotlight in parliament.
