Hi there.

I just need some advice.

If someone did a eft from capitec to FNB at 16:30 on Monday when will the money reflect in the FNB bank?

Are you sure they sent the money to the right account? I normally send between capitec and fnb, usually goes through the very next day, provided I do it before 4pm, but it usually doesn't take that long.

Yes, money was sent previously from the same person.

I also waited a bit long for that money to clear, but I figured because it was done on the friday and Weekend days doesn't count as business days.

But I too can't understand why its taking so long because it was done on Monday. But the EFT was done late at 4:30 pm

Ill inform when the money is in and we can see who was right LOL :)

I paid some money from Capitec into FNB late Mondag, was in account this morning.

Looks like I'm one of the unlucky ones :(

thank you - oober

Maybe it will clear after 12 today

If payment is made before 4PM on a week day, it should clear the next day (might be delayed by another day if the next day is a weekend). 4:30PM may be a bit too late, so will take 2 days.

Ow ya... It's in it's in ;)

Thank you everyone. so it takes like less than 2 days.

I'm so happy :)

All your advice helped me so much for the long run

Hi ,
How long will money transfer from Capitec around 7Am on Saturday using cellphone banking takes to reflect in FNB account

if someone pays on a friday morning, how long should it take to FNB?

with any other bank i would expect it next day still at 00:00

would you expect it by the monday 00:00?

Two to three business days. So either Monday evening or Tuesday morning.
My salary used to be paid from FNB to Capitec at a previous employer. They didn't use instant EFT. Usually paid in the morning and reflected that evening or early morning next day.
Edit: lol. Ek ontwaak nog :p See it's from Capitec to FNB.

yeah so it just shows then that it is possible as this is my experience with any other bank to any other bank, but now capitec seems to really delay the payments out

I find it worse with other banks to Capitec. FNB is still fast. Standard Bank, Absa and Nedbank to Capitec fairly delayed.
