EFT Clearance time from Capitec to FNB

if someone pays on a friday morning, how long should it take to FNB?

with any other bank i would expect it next day still at 00:00

would you expect it by the monday 00:00?

No, if a payment was made on a Friday morning, you would expect it in FNB on Friday evening after 00:00.

If you did not receive it, I agree with @backstreetboy that there may be some delay or problem on FNB's systems.

I bet my bottom dollar the delay is with FNB.

what makes you think that? I have never had issues with any other incoming payments from any other bank, saturday, sunday. public holiday etc, generally if paid in the morning will show next day regardless

Did you do this transaction yourself so you know it really successfully happened or is it from someone else? This Saturday mornings EFT from Capitec was in FNB account by 19:00 Sunday night.

Why not ask the person to do the R7 instant EFT if it was important to get it ASAP?

Overnight, so Tuesday when you wake up it'll be in.
