EFT'ed into a non active FNB account

Get my monthly levies invoice, with banking details of Body Corp

Made payment this morning, Capitec to FNB...just got a heads up from someone that banks with FNB, they were not able to complete their payment, from FNB online...as Body Corp account has not been activated.

Couple of emails later, get an email from managing agency ...oh, the account has only now been activated...there is back story, ...not that I am interested in their trails and tribulations with FNB...anyways...

Question, will eft go through to nominated active account? or what the hell happens in a case like this?

Usually in a few days the money will just be reversed back to you. I would rather phone my bank and check just to make sure.

Not true. When I opened my FNB account I had an account number, but couldn't do anything with it until it was KYC-ed

Thanks guys,...we wait and see...-I have fwd the POP, if the money comes back into my account....will just pay them again. However, if its case of hide and seek...they can do the tracking.
