El Clásico

EPL is the best league in the world....

Messi would get smashed against teams like Stoke , Blackburn , Bolton etc...not saying that he won't play well , but it is any league...

Ronaldo is doing magnificent in his first season. Pity , he left United for Madrid...I believe he is not the same player at Real Madrid...It is a circus down there...Sometimes people make wrong decisions and i guess Ronaldo did the wrong thing.

Maybe he will rise to the occasion come the world cup , but currently i admit that Messi is the best player in the world.

wow how the tides has turned... for Ibra to go to barca for a crap load of million yet he still has to be given time to adapt, whilst ronaldo must go to la liga and expect to demolish Barca - the currently most complete team... wow I'm even amazed these guys are giving Ronaldo the time of day and comparing him to Messi... who has been playing for in La Liga and Barca for how long...

Ibra is the flop of the year for that amount of cash especially whilst playing in that Barca team

fish, you missing the boat a bit. I have always said Ronaldo has done great in La Liga for his first season . The point is that he is now exposed because he is being compared to Messi every week.

Something I predicted last season already.

Here is another prediction for you... Ronaldo will never be rated better than Messi in La Liga. Even in 2 seasons time, why? Because Messi is just SO MUCH BETTER!!!!

Scoring the winner in Barca's most important match El Clasico
Scoring the winner in countless La Liga matches
Scoring 2 goals against Arsenal
Creating 8 goals for the rest of his team
20 goals so far this season

Do you call that a flop? You should look at your United team members if you looking for a flop.

Thing I've learned about Genius is he only reads and responds to what he wants to.

I remember last season and the season before I'd ask him how La Liga could be the best when the EPL had THREE teams in the CL semi finals for the past 3 CL's. Of course he just turned a blind eye but now he's quick to point out that for the first time in I don't know how long their isn't an EPL team in the semi's.

Genius calls everyone else fanboy's but I reckon he's the biggest of them all.

Cantera has always responded to questions regarding why La Liga is the best.

Depth, Players, UEFA rankings have all been used to add to the debate.

Its the first time i hear that I have not responded to the hottest debated topic on this board.

You still angry that no EPL team made the semi final?

La Liga CL stats are superior to the EPL.

Over the last 10 years La Liga has won 4 Champions League whereas the EPL has only won 2.

Not at all mate. Sure I love and support my team but I will admit it makes a nice change to see someone else other than an English Trio in the semi's.

I said he will manage fine. When he came on during El Clasico he looked good.

Injuries are unpredictable. His form has not dropped because he was out for 10 days, that is what I meant.

LoL - so suddenly in 10 days he became a bad player struggling for form.

Its like saying if Messi gets injured and is out for 10 days, when he gets back he is going to struggle. If anything he will come back stronger after a good rest.

10 days = 1 La Liga match.
