That Spanish league is hopeless. There's really only one team with metal there and that's Barca. All the other teams are fillers.
 
The Spanish league is so hopeless, thats why they dominated the UEFA rankings since it was invented.
 
I never said we dominated the CL this season. The English teams have.

To say the Spanish league is hopeless is a bit of a bandwagon statement from a true bandwagon jumper.

Hi all, I'm new here...

The fact is that La Liga standards have drop drastically over the past few season. Liverpool destroyed the so called 2nd best team in Spain. Barcalona humiliated them at the Bernabeu.

So the conclusion is Barcalona is a very good team at the moment but they not Gods like Genius is making them out to be.

Welcome to the forum. Always good to get some new users up in this section.

La Liga has always had more depth than any other league. In England the top 4 are untouchable. It has been that way for very very long. In Spain, the top 4 are always changing.

For me as a football enthusiast, that is more fun to watch. The title race is always close and we have new teams in the CL every season. In England its always the same.

How can anybody rate La Liga poor based on one match (Real vs Liverpool). It doesnt make sense to use logic that if the second best team loses then the whole league's standard is poor.

Fact is, all the great managers, past legends have said that the current Barcelona team are the best in the world.

Will they win the CL? Maybe, Maybe not.

But one thing is for sure, they have been the best team in the world this season. Guus Hiddink, Maradona, Alex Ferguson, Johan Cruyff among so many others have all said so.

It must say something about La Liga if the current best team in the world is from there.
 
Barcalona is one of the top 3 teams in the world at the moment. I would never say my team (ManUtd) is the best. Most of the time it depends what kind of form they are in going into the match.

I can't argue with you if you say Barca is the best LoL but lets face it if they do win the Champions Leauge that does not mean they are playing in a good league at the moment.
 
So who do you rate as being the best this season?

Barcelona play every week in La Liga. It must say something about the league if of their teams is rated as best in the world.
 
Don't get carried away now. I said on current form they the best. Things change very quick in football.
 
But they have played like this since the second week of the season. You people only notice it now. LoL

and liverpool had to tell their golden boy stevie to shoulder charge atletico madrid's defender in order to get the dodgiest penalty in a desperate attempt to qualify for knock out stages?

and atletico are ranked what in spain?

Dont forget about the Real Madrid match and the foul on Pepe. On a different day it could have been given and the first goal would not have stood. Also the hand ball that was given to award them the second goal when replays showed it came off Henize's shoulder.

But the Atletico penalty was the worst for me. One of the reasons why i dont rate Gerrard so high anymore, clear cheating dive to win a penalty in the last minutes of extra time.

Atletico Madrid are not even in the top 4 in Spain.

those two goals as I previously mentioned gave Liverpool the win over Real... it's like last night if no goals went in, in the first 5 min Arsenal could have probably gotten a equaliser and the match would have a different tempo but because united scored 2 in such quick succession the tie was truely over...
