Hi,

I haven't finished this game yet ( pathetic yes I know ), & want to play it again.

However someone told me today that if you DO NOT finish the main quest within 30 DAYS ( ingame time ), then you don't get to kill the main boss or whatever because then Oblivion takes over & wins or whatever.

Is this true?

I was under the impression you can play the game / roam around / explore as much as you want and can finish the main quest whenever.

But now I hear there's a time limit in finishing the main quest?

He said after you've done the main quest then you are free to do what you want for as long as you want. But the main quest must be completed within 30 INGAME days.

Please could someone verify this statement for me.

Thank you

Finally someone answers.

Thank you so much for the reply friend.

Stop taking game advice from utter morons. Ask him where he heard it and he would probably tell you a friend of a friend's uncle's mother told him.

These RPG's bother my OCD.

The world is dying, yet there is time to do everybody's stupid errands and kill some rats in a basement. There is always rats FFS :D

As predictable as the first woman to take off her bra in a horror movie is the first to be killed, if I pick up an RPG game I will likely be fighting some rats... or something that resembles rats like radroaches

And the classic "Is somebody there?" call when the guy has two arrows through his head.

My apologies.

I thought I could come here & get some help with a question I had, instead of being shot down.

Sorry guys. I'll take my idiotic questions to another forum.

We're not shooting you down for an idiotic question. We're shooting you down for listening to an idiot. Plus 3 seconds in google would have told you the same thing. ;)

Once you reach a certain point in the main quest, random oblivion gates will start spawning everywhere. This can be annoying at times. The only way to stop them is to finish the main quest. I normally do all the side quests and guilds before starting the main quest.

There is actually a limited number of gates appearing. Only 60 will appear in a single playthrough. Once you've closed them all, they stop appearing. Most of them have random locations. I once did a game where I closed all of them.

Are you looking for someone to level with in-game? If so let me know.
