Elder Scrolls Online

How much inventory space do you have? Between horse and pack upgrades I'm now on about 97, and that's not even close to enough.

I have 90, and can agree. Bank is at 140 and has no space.
If I understood, Inventory can go to 200 and Bank to 240, but that is going to take a while, and a LOT of gold :D

But, being a MMO, this a marathon, not a sprint.

Hehe, yeah inventory space is always a struggle XD

I have a subscription going that gives me a Crafting Bag, which has infinite space for crafting materials (and crafting mats get put into the crafting bag automatically on pick-up, crafting also uses mats directly from the crafting bag) and i have around 170 inventory space atm... But i'm still running low on space all the time :crylaugh:

The new frequency of Set drops isn't making it any better either cause i have a bit of a hoarding complex :P

In terms of making a build and skill point allocation:
I calculated a while back that if you collect all the skill points in the game, you could max out all you class skills (active and passive), all weapon skills (also active and passive), all Race passives and then most of the World/Guild/AllianceWar skills... As long as you put no skills in Crafting XD
Crafting is like a Skillpoint sinkhole :P

This might sound silly, but I just never seem to get round to Googling the answer... But can you later upgrade the 5 skill-slots (keys 1-5) to more than only 5? I have one from each of my 3 class lines slotted, one Soul stealing, and one racial, IIRC. So there's no space left for anything from weapon skills, guild skills, ...

The crafting bag is the single best motivator I've seen yet for subscription! But I'll make do with my puny 97 slots for now. :o

At level 15 you can swap between 2 5-slot skill bars. An important mechanic for endgame content is to get good at swapping between the 2 bars and using skills from both in combat, so that you effectively have 10 skills slots. With our SA latency is can be very difficult, but it makes a big difference when you get used to it.
For instance, you could have all your attack skills on one bar and then all your buffs on the second bar, swapping between them as you need to.

Makes sense, thanks!

I'm currently using the second set for a bow, but I seldom actually use it. I've considered equipping it with a set of basic, unenchanted daggers (my main set is dual-wield daggers), but soul gems are so cheap that I don't really see the point. So using it to expand your skill set actually makes more sense than any other use thus far.

Sometimes remaining in blissful ignorance seems a happier option :D
At least now I know. There are some of the other skill lines that I'm not currently to interested in/worried about, so that will hopefully fuel my crafting *crosses fingers*

To expand on this a little, there's nothing stopping you from equipping the same weapon type in both slots, and just putting different powers in each tray, so one could be more dps focused and the other some dps with a heal or 2.

Most of reddit would slay me for giving that suggestion, as it seems counter-productive with the levelling game, but enjoy the game first....

I've been playing ESO about a year now. Have one main character that is very high level and several alternatives all between level 8 to 45.
My recommendation about crafting is to do as many writs as possible, it helps a great deal with levelling your crafting skills plus you get crafting material as a reward as well.

In my experience enjoying the game and using the skills that makes more sense to you is far more important than proper builds. When playing dungeons that have to have 4 people or more, the ESO forums have quite a few good suggestions. Essentially, it's a combination of crafting, sets and some rare weapons/jewellery.

So, have anyone created a Saffer guild? I see there is one on the ESO forums, but the last activity was in about June, so I'm not sure if they exist anymore.

I started playing ESO late last year and am enjoying it. Currently got a 250cp mag sorc and starting to level a healer templar. Tried my hand at some PVP and got totally ganked numerous times. Instant death lol

Anyone else still playing that would like to group up sometimes.

Bumping this thread

I'm playing on PC, EU.

There is a Saffer guild. I think I was in Deshaan when someone asked whether there are any Saffers around. Guild's name is Gravitas. Guild chat is fairly quiet, but they do seem to have a raid group running on Mondays and Wednesdays.

If you want an invite, send me a mail ingame or whisper me when I'm online, and I'll ask the guildmaster to send you an invite.

Anyone tried out the Murkmire DLC yet? Thoughts, opinions? I had only played very little, but I liked the idea that not all Argonians are stoners with the "You're the sun on my scales" line.

This new thing of being able to go into any area and always encountering monsters at your same level has taken a lot of the fun away for me (from both WoW and ESO).. I loved skilling/levelling up to a point where I could go into a new area and take on whole mobs at a time with no hassle..

I guess it's something I will just have to try to get used to.

BTW - if anyone here is interested in an active casual guild, give me a shout. It's not an SA guild (tried those, couldn't find one that was active), but our membership is currently on 300, with most active ingame. We've got a fairly strong vet group - have done all Craglorn trials on HM, completed vCR+0.

@KingBel - with a semi-decent build you should run through overland mobs without any issues. If you struggle with overland mobs, your build is probably at fault. We did nSO last year on lvl 14-18 characters, without allocating CP to them. A good build makes all the difference.

Steam has this on special for R149.50 (Base game and Morrowind Chapter) and the Summerset Isle at R199.

I picked it up and am puttering around with it but my onlline time sees me as an extreme casual.

So far I quite like the game. It's similar enough to Skyrim, great humour (Caldwell / John Cleese is brilliant) and easy enough to mess around and solo odd's and ends. Lots to learn still (I'm still trying to figure out my Templar, crafting etc.).

Oh and the story line is engrossing.

I have yet to try out grouping / PvP.
