It could be interesting if there were any hope of the right people getting the right jobs, but that is probably a futile wish. One for me:

DJ Ossewa for Minister of Arts & Kulture!

Well, the new party (the COPs :D) who will undoubtedly just offer the mandatory lip service to the masses to win them over.

Then we have a choice between the ANC and the...OK just the ANC.

So we have a choice of voting between dumb and dumber.

Take your pick.

ANC will most likely take it again purely by numbers.

I'm not that in to politics but I do like to know whats going out there. One person that gets by attention above all is Helen Zille. I dont know the rest of the DA very well but I like what she is saying and above all doing.

People tend to hear very well but they dont listen very well. And if you listen to what she is saying, she could be exactly what SA need. She wants to get things right and move on. Tackle and snuff out all the skelms.

We are living in a time where we cant worry about race, colour, gender and above all tradition anymore. We need people in positions that will do the right thing.

The world is changing like we have never seen it before. Lets hope South Africa changes as well.

I wonder if the DA might actually lose ground to the Shikota breakaway party? Both Shikota and the DA appeal to middle class voters and the DA might lose it's position as the main opposition party. Anyway, votes that go to any opposition party will definitely keep the ANC on their toes between this election and the next.

It would be interesting if the new party and the DA melt together, that would make for great opposition, but I guess that will never happen.
Seeing that I am in the Western Cape I will vote DA purely to keep the Western Cape under Helen Zille.

Who should win? The DA - Reason - Zille.

Who will win? The ANC - Reason - Racism.

lol... ja, just wanted to make sure what the deeper reason is to vote for the ANC

LOL. But, I will not vote for ANC. I was just giving a reason as to why I think they should win. :p

If I thought the elections were going to be closely contested, I would have a different answer as to "who should win".

You will never know, maybe the breakaway party is bigger than anyone realizes, and they come and shock everyone and win... ok, that will most likely not happen.
The ANC are just so freakin useless, I am just glad I am in the Western Cape, now we must just make sure is stays under the DA

On Friday, Bantu said "the real floor crossing is happening now and its not going to favour the ANC"

I hope the breakway party (incl other parties) will attract many people who had decided not to vote (e.g. people like Tutu).

I don't care who wins, but I'd prefer to opposition parties to have a high number turnout specially amongst the youth, and within the WC, mostly for the reasons of preventing the 2/3 majority in parliament. I just don't want a party (ANC) having 2/3rds because it gives them the green-light for everything.
