Electric Pressure Cooker Recipes

Three similarly priced choices:

Russell Hobbs - 6 Litre Electric Pressure Cooker
Milex - Power Pressure XL Pressure Cooker
Midea - 6 Litre InstaChef Multi-Cooker

I bought a Defy simply because I like shopping at Kloppers.. That shop is dangerous..

I have an IP and love it because I get the slow and pressure cooker in 1. Very convenient and the pressure cooker function works great.

Money is definitely an issue however the RH was on sale for R1199, so I took it.

Also have the RH and very happy with it.
Was one of those guys against the pressure cooker, thinking of it as cheating.
But it's magic once you get the hang of it.

Probably use it once a week for a lekke quick vleis, rys en aartappels type of meal.

Brilliant in winter for soups as well.

Quick question - can you brown meat in it before you cook it?
 
Chili for dinner.

I mist have downloaded a different manual because the one that arrived has many more settings including one for yogurt.

The yoghurt may come in handy if you're making very hot chilli? :P
 
Picked up the RH one on FNB Black friday sale for R999
I have been cooking in it since then. Love the pressure cooker!
