Electricity tariffs still not high enough - Eskom

Price always goes up. Quality stays the same. I've replaced all my lights with LED's and the money I saved from that is being used now for this. Urgh...
 
My bill this month was the highest it's ever been. Yet I've had 2 powercuts in the last 3 days
 
Stop paying for no coal! also don't pay government their share... they getting enough silver lining...
 
are poor old CEO and his cronies worried about their Xmas bonuses?
 
I wonder at what point we cross the solar power cost per kWh? I think if they get another increase of 7 odd percent we should be getting close.

getting there quicker than I thought. already done the basics / insulation / double glazed windows / gas stove / energy efficient fridge, freezer / CFL's / solar geyser etc. just need to solar power my pool pump as its the main power consumer now :(

The production cost of Medupi is already above the production cost of solar farms...
