Electronic Components Table View

Anybody know of an electronic component supplier in the Table View area. I am looking for capacitors.

I don't want to have to drive all the way to Communica and they're also not picking up their phones so don't know if they have what I want.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I normally buy from Mantech in Durbs. They're generally good at stocking/getting anything you need. Not sure how far their CT branch is from you but you could at least give them a call and see?

Isn't that always the case, the components you need is worth less that the gas you spend to get to the suppliers, annoys me a lot.

You could try RS Components, they have a branch in Montague Gardens. With a bit of luck, they might have stock available.

Sorry, just checked their website and the Trade Counter in Montague Gardens has been closed. Phoned them and they confirmed the closure.

From what I can gather their premises are almost in Woodstock (Tide St?), they don't list their CPT branch on the website. Can anybody confirm this?

Yeah They have closed all the remote trade counters and ship everything out of Midrand these days.

I got a hold of Hamrad but they don't stock them, was recommended to check out Mantech. Looks like I'll be taking a drive then, may as well get some other cool stuff while I'm there then.

I think that Mantech also have a mail order service otherwise you could try www.rabtron.co.za (R30 mail charge the last time that I checked - now increased to R39).
