Ellie's inverter

I have an Ellie's FBIT2000 1200W/2000VA UPS inverter and I want to switch it off. I mean switch it off and it won't be charging or supplying power to my home. There are two switches on the wall but when I switch one off then all the lights in my house go off. If I switch the other off then the Inverter starts powering my house. I want to switch it off as I don't want to use it for the next week as it makes a noise and I have visitors coming over.

There is a button on the decoder like box on top of the inverter but I'm not sure if it really switches the inverter off as the lights on the inverter are still on.

Well on my Mecer, the button will switch off the auto fail over. But in off mode it will still charge the batteries and serve as a bypass for the mains.

Unplug it totally.
