Hi All!

I can not send any mails to no one!

Is it just me? I'm using smtp.vodacom.co.za but "the server" either rejects the email address i'm trying to send it to or gives me this...

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'JHTF24', Server: 'smtp.vodacom.co.za', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

I have reconnected and even used my own domain's mail server but no email will go through no matter what i do...

All was fine yesterday evening...

Can someone please help me...

Thanks!

Is Windows firewall blocking smtp outgoing?

Have you plugged your PC into the network? Or is the network card disabled?

Go to Start - Run CMD

at the prompt type in IPCFG

and see if you have an IP address.

Hi L!

Not the firewall or your other suggestions. Can browse and receive emails...

Just swopped my sims and then it was fine...

For data I use prepaid and for voice calls I'm on contract.

Took my contract card out and placed it in the data card... all worked well...

Is there maybe a problem with the prepaid system again?

Please anyone?

Check the balance on your PPDB.

more than 900MB still left on my 5 days old 1Gig Bundle.

I can browse and receive emails. I am connected and I have data available.

I just can't send emails...

And it seems it's only me complaining so the fault must be on my side...

Just don't know where to look...

Check that your outgoing server doesn't use any Authentication.
