email on iPad

Hey guys,

I want to view my work email on my iPad. The company uses a pop3 mail server.
I setUp the iPad to retrieve the mail from the pop3 server, however I noticed, the mail that is sent to the iPad isn't sent to my work PC (outlook).
So I assume, the mail server deletes the email once the first email client receives the mail.

So, I decided to forward all the mail to a gmail account using rules in outlook. However, outlook doesn't forward all the mail. I've checked the rules and everything seems fine.


Is there another method I can use?

I'm not familiar with iOS, but there is normally an option when setting up the mail account to leave the mail on the server. Maybe somebody could help us out. Still waiting for my iPad (my first iOS device).

Yes, there is an option to leave on server.

Best though is to switch to IMAP and keep everything sync'd across your different devices.

I know the iPhone has the option, however I never see the option on the iPad.
According to this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3228# the option does exist on the iPad.
