email settings on motorola V3

Could anyone please provide me with the email settings for motorola V3. All my settings seem fine (pop, smtp, DNS) however the phone asks for ISP settings. It asks for the connection type (GPRS or CSD) and also APN address, username, password and DNS IP (for GPRS) and dialup number/username/password/DNS IP for CSD. What details should I put in here?

The settings I used :

DNS : 196.11.240.241
sending host : mail.mtn.co.za (port 25)
receiving host : pop.gmail.com (port995)

Ok, I'm using a Telkom dial-up account to retrieve my iBurst email - here is my e-mail settings:

ISP settings : CSD
Email provider : Custom
Protocol : POP3
USER ID : ******@wbs.co.za
Password : ********
Sending host : smtp.wbs.co.za
Sending port : 25
Receiving host : pop3.wbs.co.za
Receiving port : 110
Return address : ******@wbs.co.za

*The rest you can change to what you like.

Oh, ignore if you know this, but remember you need two accounts to make this work.

First an internet account, can be dial-up, GPRS, MMS, etc. to get on the internet.

Secondly, you need to define your email settings for your mail server (mail setup).

So, when you want to connect to your mail server, phone will ask what internet account you want to use, or I think you can specify a default connection type.

Hi, I have tried all that. I am still not sure what dial up number to use. I use a mtn sim card (datacard) to connect to internet so I have no other dial up account number to use. Should I maybe change mybISP settings to GPRS? If I should, what APN address, user name, password and DNS should I use? The rest of my email settings were taken from my outlook (pop) settings which works fine. I also set up a samsung e370 for email and it works fine, rhe samsung does not ask nearly as much detail to input. Please help.

Generaly

You have a incoming which should be for example hotmail.mtn.co.za and outgoing as mail.mtn.co.za and user name and password need to be the same as your hotmail account
