I have noticed that i'm not getting any e-mail that has an atachments.
Like price lists from Rectron,Sahara ,etc.
So i tried to send an email(with atachment) from my hotmail address to
my sentechsa.com address.
Well ,12 hours later i still have no email (with atachment) from myself.
Has anybody else noticed anything like that?
 
They just keep on amazing me. They took steps to prevent personal information from being sent via email by stopping all emails with attachments. It appears that sentech fell out of the stupid tree and still hasn't hit the ground.
 
hehehe this is rather funny ...

thank god i dont use there mail servers ...

anyone want a dynamic dns zone to play with email me ie regardtv.smartdns.co.za and run your own mail server [of course it is dependant on there uptime]

The text only e-mail took 3 minutes to arrive.
My attachement (a small pdf <100K) based e-mail took 19 minutes to arrive.

"Arrival" defined as present on mail.sentechsa.com --> if I had to wait for it to actually download to my inbox I'd not be posting this for another hour or so ... grrrrr
 
wouldn't want a sentech e-mail adress, someone might realise we got suckered into buying this CRAP !!!

yeah..the sentech mail servers can only be best described as abortions...

I just use fetchmail to pull my sentech mail, and that's it. I don't send through it. Got my own trusty mail server at my other ISP [:)]
 
chuckl most decent ISP's use SMTP auth for relay and are not open relay ...
 
I can't get MWEB SMTP server to accept mail relay via Sentech MW...So incoming is via MWEB pop3, but outgoing is via sentech [:(]

MW128, Tower 50 (Northpark Plaza), Signal:12%,S-N-L: 5, BER: 40%
