Embed HTTP into PowerPoint

Is it possible to have a live HTTP embedded into a PPT at all?

We have a TV at the office displaying call centre stats .... but I'd like it to display other info (ie a looping PDF). The sales guys complain that we can't lose the stats - so wondering if we can do the best of both, by having one slide as the live stats?

Why not just display everything in browser and use an extension that auto switches between tabs at set intervals..? Tab mix plus does this, if I recall..

or meet up half way and get another telly side by side to display the looping PDF ?
