Telkom prepaid LTE has the 250GB @ 10 Mbps, then goes to 50MB @ 4 Mbps, thereafter apparently down to 2 Mbps unlimited for remainder of the 30 or 31 days.
Costs R249. Validity from 12 midnight to 7pm (so off-peak essentially). SIM must be on Smartbroadband Wireless (otherwise called LTE Prepaid) for it to come up as an option - I know about the name change alternate, as I've recently RICA'd a new SIM to test it out.
Intend loading the airtime tomorrow to start using it.
It's ludicrous of Telkom, that if you want the peak hours included - 5 of them from 7pm to midnight - they charge R849 !
Rather use 2 separate SIMs for peak vs off-peak (if you decide on trying it as well).
I don't trust Telkom enough to split usage of capped vs uncapped products on the same SIM.
