/begin rant
we all have one. that one (or more) friend that only calls when you they want something. you be the better person and help them out, in hope of the fact that they will see that being a complete douche and only calling when you want something is not the right way to live live.
then there is the other flavour
we all have one of these as well. the person that makes zero effort to see you, and then take no responsibility and blames you for "not making an effort", usually after they have "postponed" or cancelled about 6 times prior. Usually at the very last minute, letting down not only a single person, but usually a group of people that were relying on him/her.
people expect it though, and eventually when said person doesnt pitch/cancells/lets down people, well everyone just shakes their head in disbelief and says.. "yeah, wel that is typical xxxxxx"
Im sure he/she will call again next week/month, wanting help with something and I will probably be the better person again, instead of telling them to gtfo.
