How do you control them? I have been through a very rough patch lately.... I have lost a friendship due to me seeing right through my friend. Was hard and still is as it only happened like a week ago. I get dirty looks from her and her boyfriend. They know exactly what they have done. But it's hard to let go of a friendship. I feel very upset at times and cried a lot this week. How do I control emotions....

Talking about it is a good start. Even if talking about things to somebody doesn't resolve the issues, its a good way of getting things off your back. If you're feeling angry, wait till you're alone at home and scream into your pillow or beat a cushion with your fists.

But don't harbour on things for too long, find something as a distraction, a comedy, a walk around the neighbourhood, even visiting a friend or your folks can help. Emotions are like a roller coaster, sometimes you just gonna have to wait it out till the wild ride is over.
 
Write a letter to your friend and say whatever is bothering you, and instead of giving the letter to your friend, you tear it up!
