Well, if our ruling elite can get away with blatant looting/plundering, why not everyone else.

We have had a couple over the last year in the area where I live..The guy did well to get 19 carriages off the line though...I think the last one here was about 6 or 7....(Also doesnt help that the scavengers are now stealing those metal hooks/fasteners that pin the track down to the sleeper...)

I cycle past these idiots quite abit on my rides...I once stopped and asked why they are taking these clips...
The answer was that the railways belong to all of us...
I laughed and carried on. Cant argue with that.
(yes I used to phone the cops but they never bother going to look anyway so I dont bother now either)

The guys taking these clips have nothing....barely any clothes, live in the culverts around town...Certainly not justifying their actions but when you get to this level then its a 'who gives a fck' situation from them........
