how to make my downloads faster, using my nokia n70. currently 3g is enabled, and i heard that u can enable hsdpa to make it even more faster. please can anyone help with software\settings to make my broadband faster? i would apreciate this alot!!!!

N70 got no HSDPA but u can fasten downloads by using download managers such as fget for symbian

I suggest using Opera to browse your dowloads are faster, on the GAMCO speed test I reached 4MB/s on a GPRS only enabled SE K750.

I tried the speed test on Virgin. Got a reading of 1.03 mbps Definitely not right. Opera Mini appears faster because it reduces the size of pages by taking a picture of it. My guess is the same thing is happening with the speed test - the test data is reduced in size therefore takes less time to download therefore you will get a fantastic speed reading

exactly, the speed reading isnt from your connection but its from opera's proxy server...

That might be the speed of the Opera Server if that page wasn't already cached.
