End of Days?!

Dear me, last night was a bit heavy. Picked up a friend in Plattekloof and as we drove from her house, the traffic light by Panorama Medi-clinic, an accident must have happened like less than 10 minutes before, lets just say I don't think the biker survived, was not a pretty sight to the start of our evening!

Next after stopping at Engen and then heading up Hendrik Verwoerd drive, we saw the N1 in chaos with police chopper, at least 5 or so ambulances I think and cops etc. N1 closed off and traffic re-routed.

Anyone else saw this? What on earth went wrong last night at around 8pm, cause it was quite intense!?

I used to have drinks at the Dros ( I think it may have changed now ), and the Panorama Medi-clinic intersection was notorious for accidents. I'm always extra careful when negotiating this set of robots.
