It is about time that we,the voters, tell our government what is good for us. We assume that we have put men and women of wisdom to govern us but... Who doesn't know that a private company's priority is maximizing profits? Really. That being said we know that any company's big expense is on salaries. It therefore makes sense to say to make big profits one has to use the minimum number of employees, hence retrenchments. Come one people in power wise up.
