Compiled Code vs Byte-Code/Scripts
I wonder how much power would have been saved if they didn't use any kind of byte-code orientated type application... Not going to mention any names, otherwise starting a framework war
The point is running applications that are compiled and not interpreted should already save on memory and cpu usage. But features like "rapid development/secure" might slow down the process
