Engagement ring and/or wedding ring? Custom designs.

So how long does it take to get a custom one done ?
Hopefully less than a month.
Where do I find these guys ? I found a few online guys based in Pretoria, but that sounds like a risk , I rather meet eye to eye, so I know who to bliksem when things don't go my way :p

Ta for the pointers hoegh :)

I designed my own ring for my fiance but it took some time to figure out the size of the ring (talking about fit and band thickness). I bought a diamond from a dealer and he then made the ring for me. It took him a week after the diamond arrived. If you don't know what ring your GF would like then you don't know her well enough to get engaged. The thing my fiance brags about the most is that she had no idea I was going to ask her and that I designed the ring myself and that it is perfect for her... just my 11.5c :D

engagement rings are all about bragging rights for the ladies :D

on locating a custom designer I have no clue, luckily for me the future mom in law knows a guy who's been designing rings for her for like 25 years so that was a bit of luck on my part, but im sure google is your friend and a bit of driving to check out who catched your fancy.

Time to adapt and evolve ;)

Women have moaned about guys missing subtle hints for decades - STOP BEING SUBTLE! :p

Lol 100%

I've told & showed my boo exactly the kind of engagement ring I want. I've even cut pics out of magazines to show him;)

Someone proposed to me once with his grandmother's engagement ring. Hated it:( But "luckily" I wasn't ready for marriage then in any case. However I like the idea of an heirloom ring. If I was head over heels in love with someone & they gave me an heirloom ring that I hated again, I'd grit my teeth and appreciate the gesture. We often forget that the ring is only a symbol of something more important.

I'm willing to be very flexible about it. I'll take a black SLK with MARRYME GP number plates, instead of a ring:cool:.

Swop it around and let her know ( hint hint) that you are going to propose with the wedding band and surprise her with a nice wedding ring.
And we all know the bridezilla effect... you will know exactly what to buy or design by the time the wedding comes around.

if she ain't dropping hints then she ain't interested :D you might require a bit of digging to find out what she preferes but the info should be fairly info to squeeza out of her, assuming she is interested ;)
