First real team the English came up against.

Sadly the English were not good enough.
 
To bad the Spanish league couldn't put in more teams for them to beat. Oh wait Arsenal beat Villareal and Liverpool beat Real Madrid.

It will be over when the English are banned from Euro footy again. Then again, it could be over for Chelsea next season if murmurs from abraod are to be believed...

ja that is how they stopped the domination in the 80's when the english owned the european cup :D

Yup. Seems as if the only way to stop English dominance is to ban the teams. Now do that and you'll have millions upon millions of fans on your case, and you don't want that now do you.
 
ban english teams and then? have what? more of the "other" teams? i.e Rosenborg, Shaikter Donsomethingmahjiggy

3 Teams in the Semi's and you say it's broken. Even if ManU don't win it the EPL will still be the best in the world.
 
Who cares if you make the semi's or quarters. Its only one result that matters. Thats to win the CL. If Barca played any of the English clubs in the semis or quarters i think they would still make the final.

Look at last season how disgusted Barca were to get knocked out of the CL in the semis. They sacked the coach and sold half of their first team.

spain doesnt even have teams doing anything worthwhile in the uefa cup, i guess the reason why barca have scored such a ridiculous amount of goals in la liga this season is cos every other team is mediocre

and getting raped by real madrid and not competing for la liga had nothing to do with it?

You act as if Arsenal are so strong. They dont even deserve to be in the top 4.
