enhance images

i have a couple of images i wanna enhance anybody know what programs i can use

say a picture looks washed out or lacking detail to be able to fix the picture i found a tutorial for gimp but the features in the tut i could not find them

well it will make it look better, but it depends how bad the photo is too start with, its very basic with editing. Give it a try its a small download for "big fixes" i use elements but u got to pay for that.

You can enhance a picture quite a bit in GIMP, but it is a bit windy to describe how and depending on what needs be don, impossible to begin without seeing the picture and knowing what you would like from it, so my invitation stands.
