I've recently upgraded my personal domain to a Google Apps Domain and decided to reinstall the account onto my BB 8900. I now have it running with Enhanced GMAIL Plug-in for BB and can verify that it is indeed talking via IMAP because when I read the message on my BB, it will reconcile on the server and mark it read on the server.
The only problem I seem to be having, and maybe it's a "feature" rather than a problem (I wouldn't know since I've not before used the GMAIL plug-in for BB), is that if I look at my individual mailbox for the Google Apps address (call it "[email protected]") then I get all the GMAIL features I should want, like "Add Star", labels, and "Archive". The snag comes in when I look in my integrated messages box on my BB (which includes my SMS, MMS, and email); there the GMAIL plug-in doesn't seem to work and instead of seeing a nice grouped thread of emails as in my "[email protected]" box, each email is separated by timestamp and I can't add stars, labels, or archive. The functionality is still there in the separate box, but not in the merged Messages container.
Is this normal?
