I'm considering getting an iPhone 6S with CellC on the Epic 150 contract. The rep in the CellC store said that the included airtime can be used to purchase data bundles, but when reading the contract terms and conditions on the CellC website, it says that you need to purchase airtime to convert to bundles. Could somebody from CellC please confirm?

Also, I can't find the call, sms or data rates in the contract so I don't really know what the included R150 is worth. Could somebody shed some light on this?

You cant use the R150 epic bundle to buy data bundles. But you can use the R150 for voice and data at whatever the OOB rate is. Voice I think is R1,80. Not sure on data.

That is false information from the agent and he should be reported ...probably wants to make a sale.

Hi c10n3d_0r6

Thank you for posting to us.

You cannot use the airtime to convert to any value added service.

You would need to purchase a data bundle, or purchase airtime to convert to. The airtime can be use for voice, data & SMS's.
