EPL 2011 Summer Transfers

Well... not EPL but I did hear that Real AMdrid wrapped up the signing of midfielder Nuri Sahin for around 10 million. Great transfer for them.

I'm sure it means that they will let a few midfielders go and by the looks of Ka.ka's mom's twitter account it could be the Brazilian.

I think Maarten Stekelenburg will be joining United shortly.

Pastore - no idea

Sneidjer may also be joining United :)

Ashley Young to LFC - MUTD to put up a fight

LFC to sign Young, Johnson, Clichy, Enrique, Downing, Adam, Lavezzi, Hazard, Turan, Affelay, Bojan, Benzema, Gago, Mvila, Kjaer, ...
Yoh too many rumours.

I think LFC have confirmed a free transfer of Marveaux (dont know anything abt him except he is a winger).
Dont like free tranfers, look at Cole and Jovanovic.

Chelsea are linked with everyone that touches a football and can run, so its very hard to figure out our transfer plans - though I think that we're definitely going to get one out of Neymar and Lukaku. Van der wiel at RB is also a possibility depending on Bosingwas situation. Then obviously we're looking at a winger - Mata/Sanchez/Hazard. Then we're getting Lucas Piazon and Kaka might come depending on price and availability.

Big shock transfer of the summer: Fabregas to Barcelona. Maybe. Maybe not. No wait, it's maybe again. Ad nauseum.

Perhaps Lampard/Kaka switch.

Hopefully United sign Sneidjer and a good keeper.

Expect a lot activity in the transfer market from Man City.

As talented as Neymar is, I'd prefer Lukaku. He seems a lot more stable and you never know with those Brazilians...

.

Old guy for an old guy? Doubt it.

I don't think they will be able to splash out so much due to the new ruling of fair play or something

Maybe Drogba for Kaka? sauce
But iirc, Mourinho has lots of man love for Fat Frank.

I am really looking forward to that. Add to that Nasri rumours and we're well on our way to have a ****ty summer.

Nope the greatest amount of his man love is reserved for Drogba! He even said that that would be the man he'd go to war with if he were in that situation! So atm his newest "war" is with everyone(even UNICEF) in the world except for Chelsea, Madrid, Inter and Porto! He must be trying hard to get at least Drog or Lamps - I'm not sure whats the mood like at the Bridge but Roman would be crazy if he sold either! They're icons at the club and one of the main reasons that Chelsea have had an off season was due to these two not being at their fighting best! Last season they scored 50 of our 100 odd goals between them. The only way I see them going is if they themselves request to leave to play with Mou, which I also don't see happening! But yeah crazier things have happened when Mourinho, Madrid and Roman are involved! They're the football equivalents of soap operas

I agree with that as Neymar looks like a bit of a balotelli-esque kinda guy. Lukaku would also be perfect for EPL and come in as direct replacement for Drogba. However there are two other things at work, first we need someone who can add width to the front, play on the wing if required and most importantly support Torres - Neymar can, Lukaku not so much. Second, Roman seems to have gone Brazilian crazy and I think he's looking at Barcelonas method of putting a whole lot of spaniards together and achieving great success. He probably wants to do that with Brazilians- though that's just a speculation.

LOL!

Well to a point they won't however now that they've secured a place in CPL football, they'll have a huge injection of revenue (particularly from TV rights) which will help them "balance" their books more along the lines with UEFA's requirements (I think the new rules will allow clubs to register losses of about 40 million pounds).
