Not that I think it will happen, but if Arsenal allow themselves to be bullied by Barca over the Fabregas transfer, they're a disgrace. Wenger should tell Barcelona to go **** themselves, publicly demand a pledge of loyalty from Cesc, and threaten to make him play for the reserves if he doesn't start acting like an Arsenal player. If they let him go for anything short of 40m, they're idiots.
I think the way Barca have conducted themselves in the Cesc transfer saga in recent years is a result of Arsenal NOT allowing themselves to be bullied by Barca. Barca have been reduced to using the media to try and force a move for Cesc. There has been and will be only one team that is the disgrace in this whole fiasco and it aint Arsenal. Arsenal keep the negotiations between the clubs and not via the media. They only confirm bids and state if it has been accepted / rejected. Arsenal will NOT resort to Barca's level and try use the media to keep Cesc.
Barca have apparently offered the release clause of 45 mil for Neymar. Where they plead poverty when trying to bargain for Cesc. It's digusting.
Personally, I am happy to let Cesc go. It is clear his heart lies in Catalunya. He lacks the commitment that an Arsenal captain should have. He was gallivanting around the Spanish Grand Prix, when his team was playing their last game of the season in England. WTF? I am beginning to wonder how good it is on team morale by having your captain constantly wanting away. A captain needs to live and breath the club, and the last Arsenal captain to do that was Tony Adams. Are there any doubts regarding Ferdinand, Terry, Gerrard? No.
