Why doesnt Equinox have like OpenWeb Rep on his title... and other ISP reps? Like Vodacom3G has?
 
None of the isp's who resell bw have titles! Mostly only the cell operators rep's have custom titles and some others too.

If isp's get custom titles, then I want an effectivehosting rep one :p

A good question, with a 2-part answer:
  1. MyADSL has not yet gotten round to doing this for ADSL ISP representatives; and
  2. It would be preferable if ADSL ISPs sent MyADSL an official email requesting that certain forum usernames should be seen as official representatives of the corresponding ADSL ISP, something like 'here is a short list of people's forum usernames that work for this ADSL ISP company, and these usernames can officially represent this company, providing on-forum support to MyADSL members, and can be trusted with personal and account information that forumites might provide via private messaging'.
Personally I know that MrBEEP and wa* are ADSL ISP usernames, there are other usernames that I don't know about, although antowan and BTTB probably know most of the ADSL ISP usernames.

This would definitely be a welcome inclusion. Having a voice on these forums is really important and great step in the right direction for telecoms in this country, IMHO...

You may use the OpenWeb DNS Servers if you are an OpenWeb client:

Primary DNS: 196.40.108.26
Secondary DNS: 196.40.108.27

I think this is a great idea.

Speaking for myself though, I hope those nominated are prepared to follow the example of the existing company reps and exhibit a higher degree of professionalism than might otherwise be expected of a typical forumite.

IMHO, this will be particularly important in an arena as competitive as the ADSL section.
 
I've always thought this was a good idea. An easy way to see who's who in ISPland. I hope RPM will make this happen.
