So, you may remember I've been here a couple of times about my husband's ED. He went to a urologist finally and tomorrow is going to be shown how to use the CAVERJECT injection. Hopefully it works otherwise I dont know if anything else will. :erm:

I need to learn how to give the injection. Its gonna have to be a part of forplay

Wish us luck. I may be able to report back on its success and my lack of frustration soon :D

The start of a journey into S&M, remember the leathers, whips & cuffs :D

Yes, but its in the muscle of the p3nis directly

No ways. Erm ok.

Good luck, 1st time might be odd but if you both get out of it what you want I'm sure it will become routine.

There are no muscles.

Directly from their website:
"The degree and duration of cavernous smooth muscle relaxation in this animal model was dose-dependent.

Alprostadil induces erection by relaxation of trabecular smooth muscle and by dilation of cavernosal arteries."

Why would they talk of muscle if there isn't any?

Pretty sure you should be allowed near a d!ck with anything sharp.

The primary physiological mechanism that brings about erection is the autonomic dilation of arteries supplying blood to the penis, which allows more blood to fill the three spongy erectile tissue chambers in the penis

No idea. It's erectile tissue that fills with blood, the tissue filling with blood is what gives you an erection. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corpus_cavernosum_penis

It's definitely not muscle in the sense of muscles you find in you hands, arms, legs, back etc. I think the muscle they are talking about is the muscles that dilate/undilate the arteries supplying blood to the penis.

*sigh* Ok riddle me this. If said muscle is what creates the erection...why would said substance induce relaxation in it?
