Erratic International Ping

Is anyone else experiencing erratic international pings today (31 Jul 2008, 13:00)?

When I ping google and other overseas sites, I get normal ping times, but with a lot of timeouts (every 6th ping on average).

When I ping local sites and Telkom itself, ping times are normal with no timeouts.

So it doesn't seem to be my connection . . .

Erm.. it's the end of the month, and everyone wants "value for money" on their accounts, so every tom dick and harry is raping his ADSL connection. Another side effect of telkoms ingenius capping policies.
