Hi V3G
Sometimes , when trying to connect through Vodafone Mobile Connect , the following error message pops up:
"While attempting to connect, an error with the number 692 occurred.
- Hardware failure in port or attached drive."
Happens on the 3G preferred profile.
Only solution is to shut down , power up and reconnect.
I'm running Mobile Connect 7.03.0005 on Windows XP Pro.
O ja - it's a Merlin U740 with firmware 15.4-15.4-00 [2006-01-06 14:54:22].
Card is used on a desktop - interface is provided by means of the Vodacom PCMCIA adapter "thingamajig"
Addicted to the PPDB
Enough info to make a prelim diagnosis ?
Ta very much for any assistance & have a cool Monday
