Hi my fellow MyBB addicts.

Here's a question for you..

Is it possible for a sim card to cause the phone to reboot?

I am now on my second Nokia 5800 already, due to the first one mysteriously rebooting. Now this one is also doing it.
My sim card I am using is from 2003 (yet, still a 32k), so I'm thinking that somehow the sim card must be at fault.

It can't be the phone because this is an entirely new one. :/
Memory card was reformatted. :/
Phone is running latest firmware version - 12.20 :/

So Is it possible that my sim needs to be replaced/upgraded?

Omnia phones don't work properly without a 3G sim, I would say you should get a new sim.

I've got a spare 32k MTN sim that I'll test on my phone and let u know if mine resets as well.

Most likely the handset or an application on it causing the reboots.

Any SIM should work in any handset.
