Will any of you guys be playing/buying EFT on release? Seems like this game has a lot of potential.

Brings back some DayZ vibes even though there are no zombies. When you die, you lose all your gear on you.

Unique time of game in terms of having a free roam, but also missions and raids.
 
The game is so bugged at the moment I wouldn't get it. Hours to find a match and when you do you can't shoot. So log out and try again and again and again.

If they fix it before release then maybe but the way it is now the price tag is far too high

I thought the most recent update fixed the long wait?
 
I love this game, I wish I could play it. The bit of PvE that I played I loved. However playing online is impossible. I knew buying the game I would have lag, but 180ms(max) to EU ping is not that bad(having played a slew of other games online). O man was I wrong.... If I had to guess the ping must be 10-30 seconds, NO joke! If you see another player or scav with a gun and you run away you just die 30 seconds later, it is unbelievable.
I tried playing with a VPN as well but that doesn't help. You can't VPN to the EU as there are region sign on limits. So I play the game in SA but I am not allowed to VPN to the EU to improve my connection. To do this you have to pay $10 extra for the "international version" of the game.

I would say, stay away!
 
Anyone still playing?

Picked it up about 2 weeks ago and really really enjoying it. Yes there are some bugs here and there but the experience I have had so far has been awesome.

I thought about getting it, until I saw the netcode analysis video. I think I'll wait a couple of months more.

The netcode already changed when they migrated to Unity 2018.LTS and yes this game is built on Unity. I have never seen Unity games like this though there are many great non-FPS Unity titles out there.

Any person who likes to play COD, but would like to have looter and realism mechanics, this is it.
 
Yeah I also watch Worrun's streams and YouTube videos every now and then. It kinda helped me a bit when I first got the game in 2018.
