Hi, my friend wants to start an escort agency and wants me to partner with him, I'm totally unaware of the legalities of such a business, do you guys have any info on how such a business is run ?

ofcourse, only you need to buy a rather large book entitled "ethel the aardvark goes quantity surveying" and then deposit half a million rand in the bank account of a foreign dignitary's daughter who has recently dicovered untold riches but doesnt have a bank account while finally sifting through all of gmails spam for one day.

that should enlighten you on the principles of such a business.
 
Risky business to go in. You need half of the cops on your payroll and if you p1ss off your competition things could get ugly.
 
Unless you grew up with guys with names like Tony and Dino, I d stay the hell out of the brothel business if I were you.
 
An escort Agency is not a brothel ;). It's simply a dating service. No real legalities. You just offer time in exchange for cash. Anything else that happens is between the escort and the client is between them and your business does not condone or promote such activities. In fact you frown upon it and he only reason you have a price list for is for the protection of the girls rights.

Correct, and also as long as you don't have private rooms for 'business' on your property...in which case you might want to call it a massage parlour! :D
 
Why not try an upmarket type fleshmongering business. Call it personal needs consultancy or such. Give it some class and teach the girls to pretend to be classy - like a finishing school for prostitutes - Hey now there is a business idea. :D

yup you got it spot on, my friend already has about 10 models who are willing. The business should also have a website, and would preferably target high income earners who don't have time to date. I just need to look into payment methods as dealing in cash wont suffice.

It doesn't have to be for love and charity. And so what if the girls get rich. Or whoever owns the brothel. So why don't you stop posting stupid comments as if we are offending women. They are there out of their own free will.

What I’m saying is:
So she gets paid from what you ask the client and then is she wants to do the dirty she takes the money for herself. So you are providing her with a place to sell her self. Places like Teazers the girls has to pay to work there. Even the waiters.
Now ask yourself how much are you going to pay the girls in the first place??? So they eat your profit.
Or is this Brakpan versions of models? That’s why the work for free cause they get a meal for free.

How much is a beautiful girl going to work for? R5 000 a month? I don’t think so.....

Whilst you might have good intentions, this type of business ends up following the road to the brightly lit red light.

I would think the guys often, but not always (closet gays), are looking for a side serving of french vanilla or some extra helpings. Its just the business.

I'd be interested in seeing how the screening/interview process is done
