Just installed this and must say im very impressed. Boasts anti-spyware, fiewall and obviously Anti-Virus.

Looks good and just caught a stack of stuff ( altho they were considered low risk ) that avg free missed. btw gave avg and avg anti spyware the kick now.

yeah its great been using it for a while now....pretty soon the final release wil come out and we'l have to pay for it :p

Nod32, has been rated the best in the last 12 years. I will never go back, nothing compares.

I dont mind paying for it cos some things are worth paying for..... like newsleecher :D

I swear by Nod, but last week I came across a stubborn boot sector virus that Nod, AVG & Trojan hunter couldnt remove...I used Sophos which is also pretty good

We have been using Nod32 for over 3 years, at over 200 stores nationwide. Its a good standard anti-virus solution for the home user/SMB, but if you want real hardcore protection, try out Zonealarm Security Suite.

Even Im impressed.

Nod32 picks up most virus's, but stuggles to remove them for some reason.

The new Nod32 Beta is a bit better, but I ran into a few problems with it myself.

I say never stick to one brand, try the others for comparison.

McAfee. Occasionally picks up a virus and auto-deletes it. The last time I had an active virus was Plastique on a 386, believe it or not :).

Same here over a month ago:p

so u saying eset smart security is better than standalone nod32 ?

i downloaded and installed it , very nice :)))))
removed avg :) and lekka

dont forget the improved looks aswell

The improved looks are very nice, but not what I want running in the background after I have set up my AV, hope you can turn them off.

The old one did look seriously dated though, the virus messages were out of the 80's :p

Cant wait to try out the final, been using NOD32 standalone for a year or two now.

My beta version that was installed about a month ago still works and updates fine. I tried installing on another pc yesterday and it came up with version expired.

I wonder how much longer us beta users will be allowed free use now that the commercial version is available.

I dig NOD but don't you think its a ROYAL pain in the batty setting up the thing for the first time?? - Normal users will just install and go make tea whereas theres like 10mins of config before it works autonomously.

Would be great if all those settings were ON and then choose which ones to disable...

Nod32 is still the best, nothing compares... since used it... never got a virus, spyware, grayware, malware. spam reduced.... so if you don't want to use it, nothing compares.... Nod32 is the best....

Username and Password?

Where can i get hold of this. Seems the one i had no longer works and the nod32 website is still being updated for the release of ess so cant purchase it either
