Total demand: 28 329 MW

Eskom Available Capacity: 28 270MW

Eskom used 13 of their OCGT's and 6 Independent power producer OCGT's to prevent loadshedding

Pretty much had to burn diesel at the maximum rate, let's see what they do the rest of the week.

Starting to sound a bit like Ted there. At the maximum rate would be 20 Eskom OCTGs, 6 IPP OCTGs, VPS and ILS at the same time.
When looking at the figures from Sikonathi you need to look at the ILS and VPS as well.
Yes 13 is bad, it's a slow improvement over Friday through Sundays results.
