Eskom corruption probe hits a dead end

Thank god the looting can continue. The ANC already bled the fiscus empty and they can now only steal from and enrich themselves from Eskom. Imagine the civil war in South Africa if they shut Eskom down and the government can no longer steal and enrich themselves, their families and friends!

Wow that didn't take long.

De Ruyter gone and in under a month the corruption investigations end.

Say what you will about the guy it's undeniable he did more to combat corruption at Eskom than the rest of the Eskom CEOs from the last 15 years combined.

ANC, just pissing on every tax payer again. Seems we enjoy it as they keep on doing it and we all just accept it.

The ANC is now involved in filing for defamation against De Ruyter for his allegations, while he is nowhere to be found.
Just another distraction, it's all posturing, words as empty as a dishonorable ANC leader's head, they won't progress this because they know that will lead to actual investigations..

Could we of western paradigmism not fund a private investigation to force the courts to investigate despite the ANC's obstacles?

It's like the FIFA world cup, where we had a few months of zero crime and zero corruption in the country.

Which corruption investigations as ended? did you read the article? How come the arrests are continuing if everything has stalled?

The investigations that would have been undertaken by the specific committee that was going to be created by parliament for Eskom corruption.

We also have a minister at the same time rubbishing claims of corruption at Eskom weeks into his appointment.

It's pretty obvious the general direction that's being taken here.

Personally I feel the more eyes there are on political corruption the better.

Rest assured that the investigations that matter are continuing full steam ahead and yielding results, don't be swayed by some political stunts in parliament.

I'd prefer more investigations, not less thanks.

It's a move in the wrong direction.

South Africa needs as many independent eyes on government as possible.
