You know, I wouldn't begudge them if they actually did something, anything.

Build coal plants, build anything. Just give us more energy.

but they do nothing.

Lies. They fund car dealerships and bottle stores.

Ah yes, if only words could build power stations, and run them properly.

Pravin the spinner
I don't think he can spin, have you seen what the gravy train feeding has done to him lately?
I think if he had to spin he'd have a heart attack within 3 minutes...

Anyway, there is no end to this crisis, as demonstrated in:
Zimbabwe
Malawi
Uganda
Kenya,
and virtually the entire continent with some exceptions

They all sat there while Zuma let the Guptas ruin coal & mess with the economy for their own profit. And then they gave the moron medial parole for what he did.

This country will never recover unless they get rid of the butternut. Saw a meme the other day saying that animals won't even let the stupidest of the pack lead them.

And then, they doing exactly the same with the rest of the country, pulling everything through their arse.. its the African way.

Want it solved? Stop meddling and allow private business to sort it out.
You wont have to lift a finger and poof, problem solved.

Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan says South Africa will have to, amongst other things; add “a few more thousand megawatts” of electricity into the system get rid of the ANC's control over Eskom, privatise the generation ASAP and deunionise the labor force before load shedding can be dealt with.
FTFY Pravin!

Don't think he's the one really meddling.
Problem is that ESKOM has to answer to Department of Minerals and Energy, the IPP Office and of course antheir board. Therein lies the problem.
Only one department is needed for oversight.
SOE's don't really even need a board
