Eskom has implemented power cuts in parts of the country due to its constrained power grid.

Yeah, the power was out when I got home ... and yet the State of the Nation Address was unaffected. Mother****ers. They should have cut that power FIRST, so that the people in power can feel what it feels like to have no power. Puns intended.

This. I wish they would just inform people before they decide to load shed. They have a site for this, but it says there is no load shedding at the moment as LinuxMan points out.
