Eskom load shedding racist

The neighborhood I live in must be really lucky because we have never been load shedded. :D

aw shame, are they really that insecure?

Wonder what will they say when nonpayers get shedded more often than payers?

Why the hell do they feel the need to reshuffle the schedule then?

Lol. Ol' Tony "private hospital" Ehrenreich at it again.

They should permanently load shed the non payers in Soweto

It must be racist when the majority disconnected is the blacks. Eskom should only disconnect whites it seems.

Of course they made no mention of where the most probable illegal connections are and no mention of where the biggest employment hubs resides.

uhm ... load shedding at any time is an inconvenience....

Dumb arse statement full stop. How about dealing with the ANC cadres that are running Eskom, wait correction, Running Eskom into the ground.

WTF? Any time load shedding is bad, I get it during lunch hour (12h -> 15h) which pretty much ruins my day and a lot of restaurants have no power either.

If this was true, it would be shocking.

It would also be equally racist (and shocking) for COSATU to make the claim if they hadn't first engaged the Council to check out their facts

Tony Ehrenreich should retract and appologise for his racist statement.

Cosatu Western Cape secretary Tony Ehrenreich claimed power cuts for more advantaged areas took place during off-peak hours while poorer areas were without power at inconvenient times.

How is that racism? Is he retarted? Idiots like these will be the reason ``racism'' will never leave the country.
Because they are so racist, that they are afraid another race might be getting treated better than they are.

Tony Ehrenreich is a racist and should be treated as such.

Of all the things they could pull the race card on, I didn't expect them to pull it on load shedding - it is a problem that affects everyone regardless of race or class.

Tony Ehrenreich.... what a dumbass!!

We get switched off at exactly the time we'd be making breakfast, children would be watching a show and the washing would be going on.

They would first need to pay for the electricity instead of being illegally connected to have an opinion.

It is very easy for Mr Ehrenreich to make all kinds of claims or demands! The one thing I doubt is that he will be not able to make any change whatsoever if he would be doing any proper work.

Careful guys, when you generalise with "they" you too border on racist generalisation!

Having said that, I too get irked by Ehrenreich and that other one's loose statements and always making it about race. The DA rulers in the Cape are in the end also only politicians. They might be saints compared to the ANC raff, but need oversight from their opposition. Sadly, it seems that the ANC is failing on that front as well.
