Now it is even worse than '08.
I was working from offices at Dimension Data Campus during the load-shedding.
We had no issues with that - as they'd installed a massive generator shortly before the whole mess (Still wonder how they were so prescient)
Halfway though scheduled load-shedding, the head of IT support comes running past, shouting 'Save everything, the gennie's out of diesel!' Now he was a very professional gent, so seeing him act like that made everyone react. It seems someone had mixed up the schedule for the company that supplied the diesel for the generators, and by the time anyone noticed - we had about 5 minutes left.
4 minutes later the load shedding for that area was stopped - still have no idea who they phoned to do that, but seeing as they hosted servers for FNB to SARS..
