Eskom must pay says DA

my garage motor is damaged as a result of the load shedding so I want to know how to claim.

unfortunately there is always a way for a company to squirm out of these things. instead of going "ok we ****ed up" they going "ok we ****ed up but what you gonna do about it. nothing. hahaha we own you" so we kinda stuffed here.

btw. has anyone seen the proposed energy regulations yet? i got a copy if anyone wants me to upload. they not huge, only about 3 pages long

they know you can't prove mostly anything, can i claim for loss of income and or pain and suffering?

Remember that the burden of proof is a balance of probabilities. You will not have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Yes it might still be difficult to prove, but remember, if people have successfully sued for damages as a result of potholes not being fixed, then it will be possible to claim here. (How do you prove it was a pothole, as apposed to a rock, or a sidewalk etc).

Well, what will happen if some one dies as a result of an outage?
Easy enough to claim - but what is that then? Manslaughter? Murder?

Apparently not when you have big company.
But I think they would have to pay for 'damages' hehe.
Will be a quick solution to find out what the value of a life is in this coutry.
A bread?

I see in the papers today someone DID die on the operating table.

VIVA. If the inadequate hospitals don't kill you, Eskom will.
