Eskom power system under severe pressure

Eskom’s power system is under severe pressure, and it is currently running all the diesel generators and hydro storage facilities it can to avoid load-shedding.

This is feedback from Eskom spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshansha, who was discussing the issue with The Money Show.

I know exactly why so many unit breakdowns all at once. it's called bonuses and if you don't know how to speak that language then your company is doomed to fail. So Eishskum please just go right ahead and drop the power as much as you'd like to. Infact just drop it all together cause we don't care anymore, I think South Africans have proved that we are able to get through this mess without your bloody power issues.
